Excerpts from review
“If only 300,000 subscribers were there last night on Canal+, some would say that it is because the fiction directed by Christophe Blanc lacked energy and that the complexity of the character was probably too confusing for a large number of viewers. But Samuel Benchetrit, he was perfectly up to this famous activist, whom he embodied with accuracy.”
Comments
Christel Baras, who has worked with Adèle since the beginning of her career, was casting director for this television film.

There is very little information available about this film.
Watch comments
It is hard to make intelligent notes about watching the film for two major reasons: 1. This is the final one of Adèle's films that I got access to, so seeing it is very exciting; & 2. It was in French and I do not understand French. So keep that in mind when reading the following.
I really enjoyed viewing it because it was the last film that I was to track down & view (except for new films...I look forward to those!). The film did not have subtitles, except when French was not spoken (& being able to read the French subtitles was easier than me trying to understand an occasional word of French...), so the non-French bits were the easiest to understand, because I could take the time to read the subtitles...
If the film had been easily accessible, then I would probably say that Adèle looked great (though the copy I had access to was not high resolution) and she did not have a huge role, which makes sense given this is very early in her career. The film would definitely fail the Bechtel test, with the female characters not having a high profile in the film. Adele is in a number of scenes, but more in a group of people or in passing, rather than being central to the narrative. I have taken a bunch of screenshots and will a
