Notes
- Official information: "J’ai Pas Peur: A film by Frédéric Wayolle with Mika Illel, Adèle Haenel, Rémi Brault, Karole Rocher." That is, there is very little information about this film available.
- In 2012 in the Press kit for Les Enfants de la Nuit Adéle included this short in her filmography. The only other short film listed this filmography is Adieu Molitor.
- In 2015 in the programme for the theatre production Trois Hommes Verts Adèle again lists this film in her filmography. Again, the only other short film listed is Adieu Molitor.
- The film is listed as being entered (but not selected for) the BUSHO 2013 Film Festival (BUdapest SHOrt Film Festival) as a 30 minute film. The video that we have access to is entitled “J’ai Pas Peur (Part 1)’ and is 16 minutes long. This suggests that perhaps there is a Part 2, which I haven’t found yet, is 14 minutes in duration. Some stills that I found for the film are images that are not in the 'Part 1' video (linked to above), which pretty much confirms this hypothesis. [I have requested of the director that Part 2 of the film to be made available online, but haven't heard back at this stage. I'll update it if/when they do.]
- Music in the film is by NousDeuxtheband, and most of what I can find about this film is via the band’s website and web presence. This band has a few connections to Adèle—one is that this band does the music for many of director’s Sylvie Verheyde’s films, including music for the film Confessions of a Child of the Century (2012).
- Confessions of a Child of the Century (2012): Adèle did a couple of day’s shooting for this film (with the role of ‘la fille de la taverne’; the tavern girl) and she seems to have been very excited about this role, as she mentions in many interviews around this time. She was excited that she was working with Pete Doherty and Charlotte Gainsbourg. IMDB states that her scenes were left on the cutting room floor and I couldn’t spot her in it when I watched it, despite her being in some, but not all, lists of cast members for the film.
- This short film is not listed in Frederic Wayolle’s filmography on UniFrance’s website.
Images from the film
I believe that these still are from the (so far) missing Part 2 of the film
