Synopsis
Alice and Paul are both studying at the Sorbonne in Paris. After a lesson, Paul, who is attracted to Alice, begins to speak with her. They find that they share the same ideas on philosophy but that as regards cinema, they are not at all on the same wavelength.

- The director, Jean Paul Civeyrac, was in the class of 1991 at La Femis (‘1991 promotion’), the premiere film school in France. Many of the folk, now well known to us, are graduates from this esteemed institution. Jean Paul Civeyrac headed the production department of Fémis from 2000 to 2010 (that is, while Céline Sciamma was a student there).
- This short film is a tribute to cinema in a series called ‘Carte blanche Blow Up on Arte’ and is a tribute to filmmakerMilos Foreman.
